- Wind window theory: power zone, neutral zone and edge mapped on the beach
- Kite anatomy: lines, bar, safety leash, chicken loop and quick-release

- Land kite flying: full inflatable 4-line kite, power strokes and depower
Water session — body drag and kite power
- Body drag without a board: pure kite pull in waist-deep water
- Upwind body drag: controlling direction while being pulled
