How We
Teach
We follow the IKO progressive teaching method — a structured system proven to get students riding safely and confidently. We never rush. Each step is mastered before the next begins.
All Beginner and Independent courses use Bluetooth radio communication helmets. Your instructor communicates with you in real-time while you are on the water — correcting technique, building confidence, keeping you safe.
Courses are available in English, Russian, Arabic, German and Ukrainian. Small groups — maximum 2 students per instructor — ensure you get real attention and faster progress.

Thong Sala Beach
Koh Phangan
We teach at Thong Sala Beach on the Gulf of Thailand side of Koh Phangan. A natural flat-water lagoon — knee-deep, sandy bottom, no waves, water temperature 28–30°C year-round. No boat traffic. Ideal for first-time kitesurfers.
Best wind season: January–April, consistent 15–25 knots. Lessons run year-round when wind allows. Just 10 minutes from the Thong Sala ferry pier.

Questions
Most students reach independent riding level in 6–10 hours over 3–5 days. The Discovery Course (2h) gives you kite control. The Full Beginner Course (6h over 3 days) takes you to first water rides. The Independent Course (10h over 5 days) gets you riding upwind and downwind completely solo.
No experience needed at all. The Discovery Course starts from absolute zero — wind theory, kite anatomy, safety systems and your first body drag in the water. Basic confidence in water is all you need. No swimming certification required.
We monitor the wind forecast daily and reschedule at no extra charge if conditions are not suitable for safe learning. We do not take students on the water in unsuitable conditions. Rescheduling is easy — just message us on WhatsApp.
Kitesurfing carries risks like any action sport, but with IKO-certified instruction and modern safety equipment those risks are very well managed. All kites have quick-release safety systems. We teach in a flat water lagoon away from boat traffic. All beginners wear helmets and impact vests.
Yes. Students from age 12 can start kitesurfing lessons with parental consent. Younger children (8–11) can try a trainer kite beach session to get a feel for the kite before formal instruction. We adapt the pace and equipment size to the student's physical abilities.
Just swimwear and strong waterproof sunscreen. We provide everything else — kite, bar, board, harness, helmet and impact vest. A rash guard is recommended to protect against the sun. Bring a water bottle and plenty of energy!
Yes, same-day bookings are possible subject to wind conditions and instructor availability. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm within 30 minutes. We recommend booking at least one day ahead during high season (January–April) when spots fill quickly.
Absolutely. Your IKO progression level is recorded and you can continue from where you left off at any IKO school worldwide. Many students do the Discovery Course on one trip and continue with the Beginner Course on their next visit to Koh Phangan.
Private (1:1) is faster — you get 100% of the instructor's attention and progress noticeably quicker. Group (2:1) is more affordable and works well if you are learning with a friend. Both include the same curriculum, equipment and IKO certification.
