How We
Teach
We use progressive teaching windsurfing method — a structured progression from first beach drills all the way to independent sailing upwind and downwind in real conditions.
All teaching takes place on our protected flat water lagoon at Thong Sala Beach. Beginner rigs are light and easy to handle, making it possible to focus on technique without fighting heavy equipment.
Our instructors speak English, Russian, Arabic, German and Ukrainian. We adapt equipment size and teaching approach to each student's physique, fitness level and natural pace of learning.

Frequently Asked
Questions
No prior experience is needed. We teach complete beginners from scratch using light beginner rigs on our protected flat water lagoon. If you can balance on a surfboard or similar, you will progress faster — but it is absolutely not a requirement.
The Discovery Lesson (2h) gets you sailing in a straight line. The Beginner Course (3 days) takes you to sailing in both directions with basic turns. The Independent Course (4 days) brings upwind sailing and the IKO certification. Most students reach basic independence within the 3-day course.
We use light beginner rigs with soft, easy-to-handle sails (3.5–5m²). Boards are wide and stable for maximum balance. All equipment is maintained to IKO standards and replaced regularly. Wetsuit or rash guard is provided on request.
Windsurfing has a short learning curve compared to kitesurfing. Most people sail in a straight line within their first 2-hour session. The challenge is turning and sailing upwind — that takes 2–3 days of practice. Our flat water lagoon and progressive teaching method make it much easier than learning in ocean conditions.
What Our Students Say
"Perfect introduction to windsurfing. The lagoon is so calm — no waves, shallow water, ideal for beginners. Within 2 hours I was sailing in both directions independently."
"My instructor spoke Ukrainian which made everything so clear. The light beginner rigs are easy to handle. After 3 days I was tacking and sailing upwind — exceeded all expectations."
"Best windsurfing school I've tried. Small groups — just me and my instructor. Progress was fast. The flat water at Thong Sala is genuinely the best spot for learning."
