FAQ
You must be able to ride independently upwind on a regular kiteboard before attempting hydrofoil. The foil adds complexity and requires good kite control and board skills.
Most students get their first sustained flights within the 1-hour session. Your instructor will set up the foil at an appropriate mast height to give you the best chance of early success.
Yes. All equipment is included — foil board, hydrofoil, kite, bar, harness, helmet and impact vest. You do not need to bring or own any foiling equipment.
Like all kitesurfing disciplines, hydrofoil has risks. We mitigate these with proper instruction, impact protection, correct foil settings and choosing appropriate conditions. Students with good independent riding skills progress safely.
