Group Skill Level Requirements
The most important factor for group lesson success is matching skill levels. Two complete beginners learning together is ideal. One complete beginner with one experienced rider is not — the course content differs, the experienced rider is bored, and the beginner gets less attention.
When booking a group, tell us the experience level of each member. We assess and recommend whether to split into skill-appropriate pairs or offer different course tracks running concurrently.
Corporate Group Bookings
Kitesurfing is increasingly popular as a corporate team experience. Kite Club accommodates groups of up to 8 students in a single structured half-day or full-day session. The format: morning classroom safety briefing (30 min), beach kite practice (60 min), group water session with multiple instructors.
Corporate packages include: instructor-led team challenge (who body drags furthest, who water starts first), GoPro video of the session, and post-session review of techniques and highlights. Contact us for corporate package pricing and availability.
The ideal group kite experience at Koh Phangan: 4 people (2 couples), 2 instructors, morning session (from 8:00 AM, less wind for beginners), 3 hours in the water. Book 2–3 weeks ahead for this configuration, especially in March–April peak season.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, but we recommend separate instruction for different skill levels. An experienced kitesurfer and their beginner partner will progress better with different instructors covering their respective needs. We can coordinate so both sessions happen at the same time at adjacent areas of the beach.
Group pricing applies from 2 students sharing one instructor. For groups of 4+, contact us directly for a custom quote — we can offer packages that include multiple sessions, transfers, or additional activities.
Children aged 12–16 can join beginner lessons in groups of up to 2. Children and adults learning together in the same lesson is not recommended — the pace and instruction style differs. We can run parallel child and adult sessions simultaneously.
Groups of 2: 1 week minimum, 2 weeks preferred. Groups of 3–4: 2–3 weeks. Groups of 5+: 4+ weeks. peak season (December–April) books out fastest. We strongly recommend confirming your session before booking flights.
